Text: LADS (Laboratory Analytical Device Standard) is an official Companion Specification of OPC UA, specifically developed for analytical and laboratory devices. It is used in critical infrastructures worldwide and by government agencies such as the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and the FBI. LADS provides standardized templates for various elements of a device and its functions, along with clear guidelines on how these components can be combined.
